<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displacement absorbing joint capable of dissolving a wearing phenomenon occurring in an inner cylinder when lengthening the displacement absorbing joint so as to fully cope with earthquake measures, and improving the sliding performance and sealing performance. <P>SOLUTION: In a waterproof seal in a slide housing 9, a waterproof packing 13 is installed not only outside the slide ring 12 in the axial direction and a waterproof packing 23 is installed but inside in the axial direction to strengthen the retaining force of the inner cylinder with the inner and outer waterproof packing 13, 23 in a usual state, and to make the slide ring 12 in a non-contact state for the outer perimeter of the inner cylinder 2 in a regular state. In a fluid seal at the inside edge of the inner cylinder 2, a slide ring 18 is installed inside a first sealing ring 19 for airtight in the axial direction, and a slide ring 25 is installed outside a second seal ring 20 for air tight to support the inner cylinder 2 with slide rings 18, 25 at two positions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
