<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin-whitening agent which excels in safety and stability and exhibits a stronger skin-whitening effect. <P>SOLUTION: The skin-whitening agent contains, as an active ingredient, a fruit body of Sparassis Crispa Rr. as such obtained by artificial cultivation and/or a dried powder of the mycelium as such obtained by its liquid cultivation method or a component obtained by performing extraction therefrom with chloroform or ethanol, acetone, and hexane and distilling the extracted solution under reduced pressure, and a cosmetic and a food and drink contain this skin-whitening agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
