PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress breakage or damage of a carcass cord in using in an overload state or a low inner pressure state and in running on a step while securing high steering stability. SOLUTION: A bead apex rubber 8 has rubber hardness of 70-90°, and its height H1 is reduced to 1.2-2.0 times the flange height Hf. A crescent hard rubber layer 20 is disposed which is connected to the bead apex rubber 8 and extends radially to a region X of 30% of each of outside and inside of the radial direction of height Hm from the bead baseline BL of the tire maximum width position M through the gap between a ply body section 10 of a carcass 6 and a ply folding section 11.
