PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection surface for a biosensor for improving the immobilization efficiency of a physiologically active substance. SOLUTION: In the biosensor, a linker having a structure expressed by a general formula A is combined with the surface of a substrate. In the formula, X indicates a group that can be combined with the surface of the biosensor or a functional group existing on the surface of the biosensor; W indicates a physiologically active substance or a group that can be combined with a compound combined with the physiologically active substance; Z indicates a group having a charge; L<SB>1</SB>, L<SB>2</SB>, and L<SB>3</SB>indicate respective independent divalent linkage groups; L<SB>4</SB>indicates a trivalent group; m and n independently indicate an integer of 0 or larger; and p indicates a natural number.
