PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging cradle for a portable device which prevents an electric shock and a short circuit since a power supply terminal is accommodated in a holder when the portable device is not charged, reduces the total length of the holder, is easily carried and improves a convenience. SOLUTION: The holder 30 comprises a first holder member 30a and a second holder member 30b elastically and slidably engaged with each other. An elastic material 31 is provided in the first holder member 30a and biased in the direction for contracting the total length of the holder 30. The power supply terminal 6 is constituted so as to be accommodated in the second holder member 30b while the holder 30 is contracted by a bias force, and protruded from the second holder member 30b and electrically connected to a charging terminal 5 of a cellular phone 1 mounted to the holder 30 while the holder 30 is extended against the bias force of the elastic material 31.
