PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling system which switches a plurality of evaporators to enable defrosting and cooling at the same time, wherein smooth switching is possible. SOLUTION: In a cooling system 80 comprising first and second evaporators 11 and 12 connected in series while sandwiching a pressure reducing mechanism 13 therebetween, a first duct 31 in which the fist evaporator 11 and a first fan are installed, and a second duct 32 in which the second evaporator 12 and a second fan 42 are installed, the fan corresponding to the cooling evaporator is operated continuously at a high speed, and the fan corresponding to the defrosting evaporator is operated continuously or intermittently at a low speed, thereby preventing the defrosting fan to be locked by freeze up.
