PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile having a structure capable of easily jointing the pile, without requiring a large space for storage, for easily carrying and unloading the pile to a job site. SOLUTION: This expansion pile 1 has sets of joints 5a, 5b, 6a and 6b for jointing inner-outer unit piles 2, 3 and 4 in a pile length lengthened state, by lengthening the pile length, by relatively moving the inner-outer unit piles 2, 3 and 4 in the pile axis direction, by combining, for example, three unit piles 2, 3 and 4 in a nesting system; and can joint the inner-outer unit piles by these sets of joints, by providing one in one of the inner-outer unit piles, and providing another one in another one of the unit piles among the sets of joints.
