PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen device which maintains closed state of an opening adequately. SOLUTION: The screen device 1 comprises a pair of left and right guide bodies 3 having respective engaging retainer parts 13. The screen device 1 is provided with an ascendable/descendable screen body 21 having insertion parts 20 to be placed in the guide bodies 3 at its ends. The insertion part 20 of the screen body 21 is provided with a locking body 23 for the screen which prevents the slip-off of the insertion part 20 from the guide body 3 by engaging the guide body 3 with the engaging retainer part. The lower end of the screen body 21 is provided with a weight 31 which has a weight insertion part 30 to be placed in the guide body 3 at its end. The weight insertion part 30 of the weight 31 has a locking body 36 for the weight which prevents the slip-off of the weight insertion part 30 from the guide body 3 by engaging the guide body 3 with the engaging retainer part.
