PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of impairing even the function as a covering plate, by causing deformation due to a composite plate, even when using a backing plate of backing a metallic plate with a hard foam material, since deformation by water absorption happens to cause breaking of the backing plate by freezing and melting caused by the water absorption in a cold district in a ceramic-bases backing plate. SOLUTION: This installation method forms a wall surface by arranging and fixing a tile by fixing the tile to a fixing piece of the backing plate. The installation method fixes a hooking piece of the tile to the fixing piece by being fixed to a wall backing by driving a fixture in a fixing recessed part, by using the tile composed of a decorative surface, a decorative surface reverse surface and a lower leg, and the backing plate integrated from a surface material, the hard foam material and a reverse surface material, arranging a fitting part above and below in the width direction and arranging the fixing piece having a fixing part and a fixing recessed part on the surface material side. The installation method fixes a hooking piece of the tile on the fixing piece of the backing plate, and fixes a part of the tile and the surface material of the backing plate by an adhesive.
