PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensively manufacturable sound insulation panel with an excellent appearance, which facilitates assembling work, and which can bear an impact force, caused by the collision of an automobile etc., by virtue of high flexural strength. SOLUTION: In this sound insulation panel A, both-side vertical frame materials 2 and 2 and a downside horizontal material 3 are mounted on both side ends and a lower end, without the mounting of the horizontal frame material on the upper end of a sound insulation plate 1 composed of a polycarbonate resin plate; the upper end of the sound insulation plate 1 is protruded upward from between the upper ends of the vertical frame materials 2 and 2, so that the protruded part can be formed as a bent upper end 1a which is bent or curved in the longitudinal direction; and the flexural strength is increased by the upper end 1a, so that the disengagement of the sound insulation plate 1 from the vertical frame materials 2 and 2 and the coming-off of a bolt etc. can be prevented in the collision of the automobile etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
