PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric lock capable of always stably accomplishing the engagement release of a lock cam 4 with a manual lever 7 for the electric lock without being influenced on a state of a door. SOLUTION: The electric lock comprises the lock cam 4, the manual lever 7, a slide cam 10, a solenoid 11 and an elastic member 16 for a plunger, electrifying the solenoid 11 to make the plunger immerse to retreat the slide cam 10, the door is pushed in the closing direction to release the interlocking of the manual lever 7 with the lock cam 4 by a hook 3 after it has been in an unlocking state, and the electric lock 1 is so constituted that the door is opened by the lock cam 4 rotating in the unlocking direction with energizing force by an elastic member 8 of the lock cam 4 when the pushing operation of the door is released.
