PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the size of a recording medium loaded in a paper feeding cassette with simple configuration. SOLUTION: Side fences 19a and 19b and an end fence 20 are slidably arranged in a cassette body 5a attachable-detachable to a body case. A first movable member 24 moving by interlocking with slide operation of the side fences 19a and 19b, and a second movable member 25 moving by interlocking with slide operation of the end fence 20, are arranged in the cassette body 5a in a superposed arrangement state. A plurality of composite protrusions 33 are formed by superposing a plurality of first protrusions 27 formed in the first movable member 24 and a plurality of second protrusions 28 formed in the second movable member 25. A width dimension and a position of the composite protrusions 33 change in response to the size of the recording medium loaded in the cassette body 5a by sliding the side fences 19a and 19b and the end fence 20 in response to the size of the recording medium loaded in the cassette body 5a.
