PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion conveyor device and a work transporting line capable of securing a passage on the way of the transport line of works according to necessity even with a narrow installing space. SOLUTION: The expansion conveyor device is equipped with a plurality of rollers 2 to transport works W, motors 3 to supply torque to the rollers 2, a stationary frame 4 able to accommodate the rollers 2 and motors 3, and a movable frame 5 configured as able to support part 2b of the rollers 2 and advance and retreat from the shrinking retreated condition as overlapped on the stationary frame 4 to the spread condition as hopping out of the stationary frame 4.
