PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material capable of securing ample resealing capability and superior handleability, suitable for manufacturing a bag for a pouch container having a resealable spout. SOLUTION: The armoring sheet and gusset sheet of one part, constituting the pouch container, are formed of a three-layer structure packaging material P1 with the following layers being laminated in sequence: a base material layer made of polyethylene terephthalate film F1, an intermediate layer, made of polyamide film F2 and a sealant layer made of polyethylene film F3; while the armoring sheet of the other part constituting the pouch container is formed of a three-layer structure packaging material P2, such that the polyamide film F2 constituting the intermediate layer in the packaging material P1 is excised in a strip-like form, so as to correspond to the intermediate seal belt of the pouch container; the excised portion of a strip-like shape having a sticking region formed therein with an adhesive A applied thereto, while notches C, C are formed on the polyethylene film F3 constituting the sealant layer, so as to correspond to both of the side edges in the direction of the width of the sticking region.
