PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold cleaning device which can increase cleaning power and improve workability of mold cleaning work. SOLUTION: An electrode material 40, which is connected to the positive side of a power source, is suspended in a cleaning tank 14; a conductive plate 12, which is connected to the negative side of the power source, is arranged on a bottom wall 12a of the cleaning tank 14 in the state of being exposed on an inner surface; and the mold 5 is detachably placed in such a manner that the conductive plate 12 on the bottom wall 12a serves as a mold placing surface; and the electrode material 40 and the mold 5 are brought into a current-carrying state via an electrolytic cleaning liquid L poured into the cleaning tank 14, so that electrolytic cleaning can be performed.
