PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for automatically scoring and summing up by mechanically conducting a performance aptitude examination, and to provide a device thereof, and a program recording medium in which a program for allowing a computer to conduct the method is recorded. SOLUTION: A touch panel input part 2 previously stores data for displaying a picture matrix for the examination, etc., in the ROM of a main body part 1. The CPU of the main body part 1 displays the picture matrix for the examination on a screen and presents it to an examinee P2. The CPU determines whether or not one of KATAKANA (Japanese syllabary) on the screen is checked, receives input data from the touch panel input part 2, and stores it in the RAM of the main body part 1. When the performance aptitude examination by a certain picture matrix for the examination is terminated, the performance result data for the examinee P2 are read from the RAM and right answer data are read from the ROM. The right answer data are compared with examinee result data. Scoring is performed based on a scoring rule. Then an examiner outputs the score result. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
