PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable paper diaper whose fixing part can be easily distinguished from a side panel. SOLUTION: In a spreading type diaper in which a side panel 23B is fixed to a back body, the fixing part 24 fixed by engaging with a front body is provided on the free end part of the side panel 23B, and the fixing part 24 is folded with the side panel 23B on the inner side at the time of manufacture, the side panel 23B is colored and an identification part 24E for identifying an engaging part 27 provided in the fixing part 24 from the side panel 23B is formed by embossing.
