A liquid crystal on silicon panel and a driving method thereof are provided. The LCOS panel and the driving method thereof of the present invention will complete driving the MxK sub-pixels after scanning I times, wherein M is the horizontal resolution and I<K. Hence, it can reduce the product cost of the drivers without sacrificing the frame rate. In addition, because of the discrete design of the even column driver and odd column driver, the width for the layout of the column driver can be double.
