<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium which has image clarity comparable to that of photographic paper for silver halide photography, and which can obtain not only high opacity and ink absorbency but also excellent coating layer strength. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet recording medium, wherein at least an ink absorbing layer and a gloss development layer provided by a cast method are sequentially provided on an air-permeable substrate, is characterized in that at least synthetic amorphous silica (A) and a urea-formaldehyde resin (B) are contained as pigments in the ink absorbing layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
