<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a sheet during inverted transport from a sheet exhausted to an exhaust part easily in the exhaust part and to secure the stacking capacity and also enhance the takeout performance of stacked sheets by utilizing the exhaust part with good efficiency sufficiently. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprising an image formation part 100 to form image on a sheet and a stacking part 100 to admit stacking of sheets with image formed thereon by the image formation part 100 is further equipped with a first sheet exhaust roller 153 to exhaust sheets to the stacking part 100, a second sheet exhaust roller 501 installed over the first sheet exhaust roller 153 and exhausting the sheets, and a sheet inversion path 120 formed from an upper and a lower transport guide 121 and making the inverted transport of the sheets, wherein the upper guide oversurface of the transport guide couple 121 functions as a stacking tray for stacking the sheets exhausted by the second sheet exhaust roller 501. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
