<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setting resin composition which has both high bridging property and stability and with which a low-refractive-index layer having desired intensity and low refractive index can be formed, an antireflection film with high productivity which has a low-refractive-index layer with a low refractive index and high film strength using the setting resin composition, a polarizing plate which uses the antireflection film having superior characteristics, and an image display device which has those antireflection film and polarizing plate and prevents external light from being reflected and an image from being mirrored. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed are the setting composition which contains a polymer which is used to form the low-refractive-index layer disposed at the outermost layer of the antireflection film comprising a plurality of layers and has a radical polymerizable group, and is characterized in that the ratio of the amount of a nonreacting radical polymerizable group contained in the polymer in a state after coating and before curing processing to the amount of a nonreacting radical polymerizable group contained in the polymer in a state before the coating is ≥0.8, the antireflection film manufactured by using the composition, the polarizing plate using the same, and the image display apparatus equipped with them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
