<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling an exhaust emission control system and the exhaust emission control system capable of preventing loud sound generated at a time of opening of an exhaust gas throttle valve when a condition is transferred to a stop and idling condition during forced regeneration control of DPF and the stop and idling condition is released, as concerns forced regeneration control for controlling cylinder fuel injection such as post-injection for regenerating the DPF of a continuous regeneration type DPF device. <P>SOLUTION: In the exhaust emission control system 1 provided with the continuous regeneration type DPF device 13, an exhaust gas throttle valve 16 in an exhaust gas passage 12 of the engine 10 in an order from an upstream side and provided with a stop and idling condition detection means 341C detecting the stop and idling condition under which a vehicle stops and the engine is under an idling operation condition, if the stop and idling condition is detected by the stop and idling condition detection means 341C during forced regeneration, post injection for forced regeneration is stopped and the exhaust gas throttle valve 16 is closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
