<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that evaluates advertising effects of advertising media. <P>SOLUTION: When a user accesses a webpage according to an advertising medium describing a URL to the webpage providing information about an advertised object, the user is provided with the advertised object information. The webpage is designed to be accessed by the reception of a password described on the advertising medium. The password includes a code identifying the advertising medium. From the password entered by the user at the access to the website, which advertising medium the user has viewed in accessing the website can be determined.
