<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cash management method and cash management program by which sales cash, or the like is efficiently deposited in a bank account. <P>SOLUTION: A cash withdrawal system 40 receiving a deposit advice from a cash deposit machine 10 updates the balance of input in cash. Now, the management computer 21 of a bank host system 20 acquires data on the balance of input in cash before calculating the interest of an overdraft. Then, an applicable amount is established based on the balance of input in cash. When the overdraft is applied, and a loan receivable amount is within the applicable amount, the management computer 21 calculates interest by employing interest on cash security. Furthermore, the management computer 21 compares a previously established standard amount with the balance of input in cash. When the balance of input in cash falls in the standard amount or more, the management computer 21 transmits cash withdrawal instructions to the cash withdrawal system 40.
