CONCENTRATION MEASURING INSTRUMENT OF LIGHT ABSORBING SUBSTANCE IN BLOOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a concentration measuring instrument of light absorbing substances in the blood into a portable size or add a function as a telemeter in the concentration measuring instrument of the light absorbing substances in the blood optimizing an LED current according to the state of a patient for every patient and greatly save power without lowering the measuring accuracy by adding a function controlling the LED current to make an alternate current component of a pulse of a patient to a predetermined value.

SOLUTION: This concentration measuring instrument of the light absorbing substances in the blood receives lights with different wavelengths illuminated from a plurality of light emitting means 1 to a biotissue including the blood vessel, processes the pulse wave obtained from the light receiving means and obtains the concentration of the light absorbing substances in the blood. This instrument is provided with a current optimizing means 6 controlling the driving current of a plurality of light emitting means to make the alternate current component of the pulse to the predetermined value.
