PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage chair that can detect a massage position of a user with a constant accuracy. SOLUTION: This massage chair having a seat section 1 and a backrest section 2 with a massage element 5 comprises a transmission antenna section 6 sending radio waves toward a human body 50 sitting on the seat section 1; a receiving antenna section 7 receiving the radio waves injected into the human body 50 from the transmission antenna section 6, which radio waves are emitted outside the human body 50 after they went through the human body 50; and a detection processor detecting a massage position of the human body 50 on the basis of the radio wave intensity received with the receiving antenna section 7.
