PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microdevice preventing a light from coming into a neighboring space part by sticking a transparent base plate to a plate member with a curable resin; and to provide a culture-observing device using the microdevice. SOLUTION: The plate member 22 of the microdevice 20 is made of a metal. As a result, the plate member 22 is opaque to prevent the light from coming into a liquid-storing part 26 from the neighboring liquid-storing part 26. Thereby, the observation of an observation target by using a luminescent reagent is not affected by the luminescence at the neighboring liquid-storing part 26. The adhesive layer 23 does not go into the inside of the liquid-storing part 26. As a result, when the liquid-storing part 26 is observed from a lower part through the transparent base plate 21, the observation is not disturbed by the adhesive layer 23 going into the liquid-storing part 26.
