摘要 The invention relates to a method for controlling an image beam path (S2) which is deviated from the film recording optical path (S1) of a film camera (1) and periodically interrupted according to the film camera (1) image-recording frequency. The aim of said invention is to make it possible to continuously adjust the contrast of the viewfinder and avoid the penetration of a diffused light on a motion-picture film (10) when the focusing lens (8) of the viewfinder is open. For this purpose, the image beam path (S2) is interrupted during the motion-picture film (10) exposure time-interval at a constant or variable frequency by means of an optical switching element (6) or deviated from a first imaging plane to at least one second imaging plane or to a light trap at a variable pulse rate. Said optical switching element (6) comprises at least one DMD (Digital Micromirror Device) chip (6) which is disposed in the image beam path (S2) of the camera (1) viewfinder and consists of a plurality of grid-like arranged micromirrors pivotable by an electronic control.
