A thermoplastic resin composition which is obtained by feeding a polyamide, a polyphenylene ether, and a hydrogenated block copolymer obtained by hydrogenating a block copolymer comprising at least one polymer block consisting mainly of an aromatic vinyl compound and at least one polymer block consisting mainly of a conjugated diene compound (the hydrogenated block copolymer has a tampered apparent density of 0.15-0.25 g/cm<3>) to an extruder and melt-kneading them.
