<p>The double fourdrinier assembly (1), at a machine for the production of a paper or cardboard web (2), has former units (14.1,14.2) with former surfaces (16.1,16.2) against opposite sides of the two fourdriniers (4,5) to form the pulp into a wet web. The gap (A) between the fourdrinier exit point (17) from the former roller (6) and the first former unit in the former stage (13) is 50-200 mm, and preferably 75-150 mm. A former bar (18) applies an elastic pressure between the former roller and the first former unit, and from the opposite side to it.</p> |
