<p>A lubricating oil composition for diesel engines which has a low ash content, contains no metals, has exceedingly high cleanness, and has excellent antiwear properties. It hence does not impair the performances of an apparatus for exhaust gas treatment. The lubricating oil composition for diesel engines comprises a lube base oil and, incorporated therein, (A) 2-30 mass% succinimide having a number-average molecular weight of 80-500 and an alkenyl or alkyl group or product of boronizing of the succinimide and (B) 0.5-30 mass% succinimide having a number-average molecular weight of 800-3,500 and an alkenyl group or product of boronizing of the succinimide, each amount being based on the composition.</p> |
