<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for picking up the front of a vehicle which is capable of acquiring the image of a region not illuminated by headlights of the vehicle when the ambient is dark such as running at night, and to provide a vehicle and a driving support method. <P>SOLUTION: The image pickup device is provided with headlights for illuminating the front of the vehicle, a first camera for picking up the region irradiated with light of the headlights, and a second camera for picking up a region not irradiated with light of the headlights. The second camera picks up an image at an image pickup rate lower than that of the first camera, and at an exposure time longer than that of the first camera. The image pickup device is further provided with a motion vector calculating means for calculating the motion vector of an individual object contained in an image on the basis of the image picked up by the first camera, and a blur correcting means for correcting the blur of an image picked up by the second camera by using the motion vector calculated by the motion vector calculating means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
