POLYMER COMPOSITE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer composite which can maintain its stable structure over a long time while being exposed to water or an aqueous solvent and is useful as a material for a cell culture substrate or a biosensor.

SOLUTION: The polymer composite has a substrate and a polymer film formed in a part of the substrate. The polymer film is hydrophilic. The polymer composite is used while being exposed to water or an aqueous solvent. The polymer film is obtained by photo-crosslinking a photosensitive resin composition containing a water soluble polymer as a main component. When the photosensitive resin composition is crosslinked, part of the photosensitive groups of the photosensitive resin film is bonded to the amino groups fixed to the surface of the substrate so that the resin film is fixed to the substrate.
