METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GENERATING COMMUNICATION MESSAGE INSTANCE, AND METHOD FOR GENERATING DATA INSTANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the complexity involved in developing a wireless application by reducing the need to do explicit coding, as well as reducing device resources utilized by the application. SOLUTION: A set of basic services to manage the wireless application is provided. The wireless application is described as a set of components. The data domain for the category of applications is defined using minimum unit of data components. The communication between a server and the device is defined using minimum unit of message components. Both message components and data components are described in metadata using a structured definition language such as XML.
