PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in gain performance of a single antenna unit or gain performance at the time of mounting, while enabling mounting the antenna onto the lower part of an instrument panel. SOLUTION: The end side 16 of a distortion return monopole antenna 2 is formed into a inclined shape downward from one side to the other side so as to meet the shape of a lower surface 17a of the instrument panel 17. The antenna device 1 is mounted so that the inclined end side 16 is disposed on the front side of the vehicle. Thus, the antenna device 1 can be mounted on the lower part of the instrument panel 17 without reducing the height of the monopole antenna 2, and reducing the height of the mounting position of the monopole antenna 2.
