PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for making communication in particular with a person capable of utilizing only voice to acquire information and a person capable of utilizing electronic mail, facsimile documents and postal matters. SOLUTION: When electronic mail and a facsimile document are transmitted and a postal matter LO is transferred to an intercommunication apparatus 5, a conversion section 21 converts contents of the electronic mail, contents of the facsimile document, and contents of the postal matter into voice data, and transmits the voice data to telephone sets 13 corresponding to respective destinations. When people of the destination reply to the call, the people can hear the contents of the electronic mail, the contents of the facsimile document, and the contents of the postal matter in voice.
