<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen concentrator usable when a patient is at home and/or out (including moving in a vehicle or the like). <P>SOLUTION: This oxygen concentrator is provided with a compression means for compressing air taken in from an air intake port via an inspiration filter, an adsorption means adsorbing predetermined components other than the oxygen in the compressed air in an adsorption cylinder and removing them from the compressed air, and a product tank for accumulating the enriched oxygen formed by removing the predetermined components; and is provided with an open valve in an exhaust channel for exhausting the adsorbed components other than the oxygen, and an oxygen sensor installed in a place communicating with the downstream side channel of a pressure regulator. This oxygen concentrator is characterized in that the oxygen sensor is an ultrasonic type and the degree of vacuum in the channel internal pressure can be regulated by actuating the open valve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
