EMERGENCY WORK SIMULATION SYSTEM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict activities of emergency personnel under predetermined conditions.

SOLUTION: A simulation method is disclosed for acquiring map information including at least road information, fire station information and hospital information in a target area and operation data on ambulances for a target period. The simulation method includes the steps of: specifying an actual emergency event by a random number on the basis of parameters determining the emergency event occurrence probability and selecting emergency personnel to be dispatched on the basis of parameter information on the emergency event; selecting a hospital to receive the patient and computing the time required to reach the hospital from the emergency location; and computing the time required for the emergency personnel to complete handling of the emergency event and then return to the station. It is thereby possible to statistically process the dispatch history of the emergency personnel.
