PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device providing optimum cooling with consideration to energy saving by providing a control means for selecting a plurality of cooling systems capable of removing a heating load of a casing interior, and judging a state of outside air. SOLUTION: A holding box 8 holding a heating apparatus 9 is installed in the casing 7, and the casing interior is cooled by a cooling means composed of the plurality of cooling systems comprising a refrigerant forced circulation system, a refrigerant natural circulation system, and a ventilation system. An outside air state detecting means 101 is provided for detecting an outside air temperature, an internal air state detecting means 102 is provided for detecting an internal temperature of the holding box, and the control means 103 is provided for selecting at least one cooling system capable of removing an indoor load predicted from the temperatures detected from the detecting means.
