PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label succession body that can leave a label member usable as a duplicate in addition to an ordinary label piece stuck on a thing and can be used as it is by a general label sticking device. SOLUTION: Disclosed is the label succession body which has many label pieces (1) stuck in array on a peel surface of beltlike peel paper (3) in a peelable state across an adhesive layer (2), each label piece (1) being given machine-readable identification information (41) specifying the label piece. The beltlike peel paper (3) is sectioned in the same cycles with the array of the label pieces (1) and machine-readable identification information related to the identification information (41) added to the label pieces (1) is added to the peel paper reverse surface on the opposite side from the sectioned peel surfaces of the peel paper, so that the peel paper (3) is used as a duplicate slip of the label pieces (1).
