PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a choke valve controller of a carburetor capable of holding a choke valve, once closed in low temperature starting in an open state, in an open state when an engine is heated by semi-opening the choke valve after the engine is started. SOLUTION: This choke valve controller of the carburetor comprises a first control lever 51 operated manually, a second control lever 52 released from the control lever 51 after being driven by the control lever to rotate the choke lever 33 to a closed position C, a choke closed state holding means 72 releasing the holding of the choke lever 33 by an accelerator operation after the engine is started, a third control lever 53 restricting the choke lever 33 to an intermediate position M at a low temperature position L and restricting the choke lever 33 to an open position O at a high temperature position H, a first control spring 66 energizing the control lever 53 to the low temperature position L, and a second control spring 67 of a shape memory alloy brought in a shape recovered state when the engine temperature reaches a specified high temperature to rotate the control lever 53 to the high temperature position H.
