PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent to reduce residual agricultural chemicals and various bacteria stuck to vegetables and fruits without using a particular apparatus. SOLUTION: The detergent for vegetables and/or fruits contains a sorbit fatty acid ester type surfactant at 10-70%. The detergent for vegetables and/or fruits further contains 10-40% each of potassium alum and sodium alum and 10-50% of sodium hydrogencarbonate.
