AQUEOUS PHARMACOLOGICAL COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous composition containing a medicine effective on the treatment of an abnormal physical state by the existence of the composition on the surface of a mucous membrane which covers a nasal cavity. SOLUTION: This aqueous medicine composition capable of being sprayed in the nasal cavity of each individual person comprises the following ingredients: (A) solid medicine particles in a pharmacologically effective amount and (B) a precipitation-preventing agent at a dose effective for maintaining the uniform dispersion state of the particles in the composition and imparting a constant thixotropic property to the composition; and the medicine is an anti-inflammatory steroid agent selected from the group consisting of dexamethasone, prednisolone and triamcinolone acetonide.
