PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable stick readily folded and assembled and having a high strength. SOLUTION: The foldable stick includes a male joint 20, a female joint 30, and a joint ring 40, which compose a connection. The joint ring 40 has a joint hole 46 to which a male pipe fitting portion 25 of the male joint 20 is fitted loosely, a joint abutment surface 431 on which a male flange 23 of the male joint 20 abuts, and a joint engagement portion 433 for guiding a female flange 33 of the female joint 30. The male joint 20 and the female joint 30 are formed so as to have a merely contact part of surface contact between a male tapered portion 21 formed at the male joint 20 and a female tapered portion 31 formed at the female joint 30. Both sides of the male tapered portion 21 are formed with a tapered male locking portion 211 and male guide portion 212, and a tapered female guide portion 311 is formed adjacent to the female tapered portion 31.
