A rocking drive for a pushchair or perambulator rocks the vehicle back and forward and encourages the small child to rest or sleep. An electric motor (1) is fitted to the lower frame and the drive is connected to one wheel (4) via one of a variety of drives, e.g. flat or profiled belt, gear wheels (2), friction roller pressed onto the tyre of the wheel etc. The system is easily fitted to most types of pushchair or perambulator.
