<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting color for reducing time for measuring color by acquiring the display value of video data rapidly. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of sets of gray levels and expression values in a light source displayed by a display are selected by a color measuring system, a numeric calculation is performed on the selected data of each color light, a fitting curve function is obtained by fitting a curve to gray level data in each section, the fitting display value of the gray level in the section is acquired by utilizing the function, further a lookup table is created, two curves are first changed into logarithms in correspondence when allowing the gamma curve of normalized video gray scale data to correspond to a target curve that is provided in advance, correction gray scale data are acquired through the lookup table, the correction gray scale data are outputted, and the distribution state of the gray scale is displayed on the display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
