<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire information on household electric appliances and to control the household electric appliances by allowing a management terminal to communicate with the household electric appliances through a household electric appliance management server. <P>SOLUTION: A first message including an address of the household electric appliance and a control command of the household electric appliance sent from the household electric appliance or a communication device other than the household electric appliance is received, and the address of the household electric appliance included in the first message is changed into an address of a communication apparatus with which the management terminal can communicate.
