<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting unit equipped with a reflective sheet fixed so as to avoid wrinkle and a liquid crystal display using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting unit is provided with a housing 11 having a rectangular bottom wall 12 face with locking protrusions 14<SB>3</SB>, 14<SB>4</SB>formed at a side edge part at its opposite side protruded from the bottom wall face, a reflective sheet 20 with locking parts 201, 202 to be locked to the above locking protrusions 14<SB>3</SB>, 14<SB>4</SB>, and a light guide plate 21 laminated on the reflective sheet 20 and to be locked to the locking parts 21<SB>1</SB>, 21<SB>2</SB>. The locking protrusions 14<SB>3</SB>, 14<SB>4</SB>are formed on a center line X-X connecting center points of the opposing sides, and to these locking protrusions 14<SB>3</SB>, 14<SB>4</SB>the locking parts 20<SB>1</SB>to 21<SB>2</SB>of the reflective sheet 20 and the light guide plate 21 are locked and fixed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
