METHOD FOR PRODUCING CYTOCHROME P450 MONOOXYGENASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably expressing the function of P450 monooxygenase gene in a microorganism host such as Escherichia coli.

SOLUTION: This method for producing the cytochrome P450 monooxygenase is characterized by culturing a microorganism capable of producing both the cytochrome P450 monooxygenase and PPIase (peptidylprolyl cis-trans isomerase) originated from archaebacterium, or a microorganism capable of producing a fused protein prepared by adding PPIase originated from archaebacterium to the N-terminal side of cytochrome P450 monooxygenase, and then collecting the cytochrome P450 monooxygenase from the culture product or cells.
