PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simultaneous cutting work of a large matter to be cut, in a state of a thin plate with 2 sets of spindles, while ensuring dimensional precision. SOLUTION: A cutting apparatus is provided with a machine unit 1 and a control unit 2, and 2 sets of the spindles 9A and 9B, which can be controlled to reciprocate in the direction of Y-axis and that of Z-axis independently. An arithmetic unit 30 sets the allowable value of a rotation angle error based on an allowable dimensional error inputted from an input device 10. A measuring instrument 60 measures the rotation angle error to the reference positions of a plurality of cutting blocks to calculate a difference between a correcting amount and the rotation angle error. According to the correction amount, a turntable 4 is positioned. A reference cutting block and a cutting block, whose rotation angle error is within the range of the allowable value of the difference of the rotation angle error, are cut-worked simultaneously by 2 sets of spindles 9A and 9B.
